Synthetic brushes are versatile and durable, suitable for various techniques, while natural hair, like sable, squirrel, pig or goat hair, is adapted to specific types of painting, for example, watercolor, gouache or oil paint. In addition, the shape of the brush, such as round, flat or fan, determines what techniques and details can be achieved. To ensure durability, it is necessary to properly care for brushes, washing them off after each use.
